This here and past treatment year was an eye-opener in so many ways. We moved into a facility with four large operatories and out of a space of two small operatories and little space to breathe. Four operatories have proven to serve our patient base better in terms of access. Emergency patients are provided same day treatment and care. Complex care patients are seen in a timely manner according to their treatment progress. Prices have changed but have been consistent with our mission. Resources have been poured into staffing and training of employees which continues to be a challenge for us. Our staff transitioned from one office to another and provided exceptional care to those pursuing treatment. Just a few more words on the current staff: they have been exceptional in advocating treatment for patients and I can attest to this being a significant part of our success and adherence to our mission. The coordinators and assistants have been the heartbeat to this whole system and I’m proud to be a part of it.

Moving forward we’ve been fortunate to hire an office manager and insurance coordinator. They help improve the experience of all of our patients.

Our Cranston office has moved from being open only one day a week to four days a week with the talent of our treatment coordinators and collaborations with local institutions and private dentists.

Two dentists have joined us. This has proven to be a positive move toward increased access to care for local residents and providing more advanced care to patients.

Technology has been added in 2018. More lasers. Piezotomes. 3-D scans and implants. It’s a lot hard work but it’s also exciting to be in our position. We have a platform to change how dental care is delivered and perceived.
